A full month after the HBO Go app for Xbox One was spotted, it's finally been released. 

According to the announcement, the Xbox One version of the app includes Kinect voice and gesture commands for easy searching. HBO Go has already been available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, it has been absent from Xbox One. Microsoft had earlier promised it would reach the platform by the end of the year.

For the time being, you can only access shows using the HBO Go app if you have a cable or satellite subscription that includes the premium channel. That will be changing soon enough, though, as HBO has outlined plans to allow consumers to buy access to HBO content individually sometime in 2015.
