Valkyria Chronicles for PC reaches top spot in Steam sales
Valkyria Chronicles made its PC debut this week and today, Sega is announcing the game has reached the number one spot on the Steam sales charts.
Valkyria Chronicles made its PC debut this week , several years after its initial release on the PlayStation 3. Today, Sega is announcing the game has reached the top of the Steam download charts, beating out a number of brand-new games, to reach the number one spot.
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the fans for their support in the phenomenal success of this launch,” said John Clark, Senior Vice President of Commercial Publishing for SEGA Europe, “We’re also delighted at the response from the Steam community which indicates that newcomers to the series are finding it as enchanting and engaging as those who have played it before.”
Those who played Valkyria Chronicles on the PlayStation 3 are well aware of just how good the game is, while newcomers will certainly get themselves hooked in no time. I just hope this is the kind of response Sega needs in order to give fans of the series a sequel that isn’t on a handheld device or a web-based game.
