Ubisoft fall PC lineup returns to Steam
It appears Ubigate is now over as Ubisoft's fall PC lineup of games has returned to Steam. Let's just hope they stick around this time around.
Earlier this week, Ubisoft had pulled its upcoming fall games from Steam, which included Assassin’s Creed Unity, Far Cry 4, The Crew, and additional games. The titles first went missing in the United Kingdom, but shortly after, their disappearance spread to additional regions worldwide. This morning, it appears Ubisoft’s fall lineup have returned onto Steam and are currently available for pre-order in the US.
Neither Ubisoft nor Valve have made any official comments as to the possible cause of the disappearance of the publisher’s digital goods from Steam. Earlier in the week, an Ubisoft rep informed PCGamesN that the company has been in discussion with Valve in regards to Assassin’s Creed Unity, and because of these talks, the title was not available on Steam in the UK. The rep suggested those who wished to purchase Assassin’s Creed Unity digitally can head on over to the Uplay Store our one of the publisher’s retail partners or other digital distributors.
Shacknews has reached out to both Ubisoft and Valve in order to learn of the reason why their fall lineup went missing for several hours earlier this week. If we hear anything, I’ll be sure to update this story accordingly.
