Star Wars: Galactic Defense was announced just last month, and today, the free-to-play mobile game was finally released on iOS and Android.

Star Wars: Galactic Defense is a tower defense game that includes both the classic Star Wars and prequel eras so well as bringing together iconic characters across various battles within some well-known locations. Players will be able to pick either the light or dark side to fight with as well as choosing up to three champions to assist in battle as well as being able to connect with friends online as the game has both a single-player campaign and online play.

Regular game updates are expected to be released in the future which will allow players to earn a number of powerful upgrades, bonuses, and even legendary Star Wars champions.
