Snag Titanfall on Xbox One and its season pass for just $33 this week

Did you just pick up an Xbox One or plan on doing so in the near future? Then you need to take advantage of this week's deal.

If you recently picked up an Xbox One to partake in the Sunset Overdrive mayhem, Microsoft has got quite a deal for you this week as it’s discounting both Titanfall and its season pass down to a very attractive amount.

Titanfall has received a 50% discount, which takes it from $50 down to just $25, while its season pass DLC has been reduced by 66%, dropping it from $25 to $8.25. That means you can get the full Titanfall experience and all of its released downloadable content for just $33.25, which is still cheaper than the standard retail version of Titanfall.

It’s a shame this deal is only good until November 3 as it would have been a great one to have when the discounted Xbox One bundles become available. If you plan on taking advantage of one of those deals, I recommend you purchase both Titanfall and its season pass so you can have it ready for you when you fire up your Xbox One.

PC has the same deal, why you gotta ignore the best platform?

Performance is irrelevant if you've got no one to play with.

I've found players the last few times I've played (at least one of which was in the last week), though I don't have the DLC so I can't comment on what, if any, difference that makes.

Also performance absolutely matters even if there is no one to play with. Titanfall is fast, large scale, and twitch based; all of these things fail miserably on consoles with a gamepad. I'd argue that it's better to not play the game at all than to play it on a console.

I wasn't aware PC had the same deal, I only saw the deal available on Xbox One.

Sucks that more people don't play it. It's a total ghost town. :/

#1: Don't release a PC game only on Origin
#2: Don't release a PC MP-only game only on Origin

#3: Unless you're Mass Effect 3 (just for you, wad)

Apparently. Sucks there aren't enough bots in the game to actually just play against. :/

How does Battlefield fare in that statement?

Dunno, I didn't buy BF4 (because it's on Origin and buggy), but from the Shack I've heard that at least it's still being played and you can find servers.

BF3 was the last one I got.

Was just about to ask if this was the case. It's been asked in chatty a few times if anyone even still plays. This is the problem with multiplayer only stuff like this.

This happened to me with Renegade Ops. By the time I got my Xbox wired controller, no one played it any more. Just not as much fun in single player mode.

Man, that's a shame. I tried a free weekend once and liked it, but it's always been too expensive to grab IMO.

While it may be, there are literally no players. See my post yesterday http://www.shacknews.com/chatty?id=32647769#item_32647769

Considering how hard Microsoft promoted the game for Xbox, I'm not surprised PC players haven't gravitated to Titanfall as much.

It took me a while to jump on the game because I was so sick of CoD, but when I finally plunked down for it and the Season pass, I really enjoy it. It's just too bad that with every week that goes by, the player count drops what seems like exponentially. I end up in games with 3 vs 2 all the time, whereas a month ago I could at least have 8 vs 9 or something.

So, with that in mind, how is the player count on Xbox One? I'm going to be getting a Xbone soon, and maybe I should grab this.

It's probably a lot better than PC. Until Halo MCC and Advanced Warfare comes out. Probably pushing this sale to try to get as many sales on Titanfall before those games come and eat what's left of its lunch.
