F.E.A.R. Online was expected to hit Steam on October 17, but we guess there was a slight delay as Aeria Games has just announced its free-to-play horror shooter is now available on Steam.

Players will be able to team up to take on F.E.A.R. Online’s Cooperative Story Mode, or if they would prefer to shoot each other in the face, players can partake in the title’s multiplayer mode that’s filled with rival players and deadly monsters. A unique crafting system is also available, allowing players to create one-of-a-kind weapons.
