Turtle Beach has been impressing lots of gamers throughout the years for their audio-related products, with console gamers recently getting a taste of that action with the company’s line of headphones. This week, they’ve announced a new fully-wireless headset with DTS Headphone:X 7.1 surround sound for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, the Ear Force Stealth 500P.

The Stealth 500P includes a number of custom DTS surround sound modes and four EQ settings that can be used with any of the included surround sound modes, which include Signature Sound, Bass Boost, Bass and Treble Boost and Vocal Boost. Connecting the headset to your console is done through the use of a USB wireless transmitter. The Stealth 500P transmitter also has an optical port, allowing you to experience digital surround sound game audio through the use of an optical cable.

Users will be able to use separate controls for chat and game volume as well as microphone monitoring. The headset also comes with a 3.5mm mobile cable, which allows you to use it with your mobile devices as well as your PlayStation Vita. As for its battery life, Turtle Beach says one recharge will provide more than 15 hours of playing time.
