Shacknews Chattycast 12: Talk Like a Saloon Full of Pirates Day
In which the gang speculates about Minecraft's future, passes judgment on recently released games, and rambles about comic books and Fifty Shades of Grey.
The glut of games has begun, and we're all over it. This week we skip the warm-up and get right to talking about Microsoft's Minecraft acquisition, Destiny and the ethics of holding reviews while awaiting updates, trendy game genres that need to die and unpopular ones that need to come back, and testing the boundaries of sims, before circling back around to the usual off-topic segment. Good Yarr to you and yours, everyone.
Thanks as always to those who chipped in with topic suggestions this week: the man with the briefcase, ejectorpod, LoioshDwaggie, Amusatron, and threeup. If you want profound thanks directed at you, keep an eye on Chatty to suggest topics for next week's show!
Games Discussed
Segment 1: Minecraft
Segment 2: Destiny
Segment 3: Disney Infinity, Skylanders, Dark Souls, Rogue Squadron
Segment 4: The Sims, Rollercoaster Tycoon
