Metal Gear Solid 5 TGS trailer gets Quiet
The latest trailer for Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain shows some more footage of Snake's female sniper ally known as Quiet, while creator Hideo Kojima reaffirms his goal of releasing the game in 2015.
The story for the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain continues to unfold. The latest piece came from this year's Tokyo Game Show, where Konami debuted the latest trailer.
IGN was one of the first to grab this footage, revealing another of Snake's allies. The female sniper known as Quiet makes her presence known to the Diamond Dogs, where she demonstrates her ability to phase in and out in a puff of smoke. She's quickly approached by Snake, where a tense peace is made with the silent killer.
Quiet's abilities will come in handy during the main campaign, in which Quiet can pop in and out and take out guards at a moment's notice. She can also use her sniper skills to pick off targets from a distance.
IGN also reports that series creator Hideo Kojima is eyeing a firm 2015 release for the next Metal Gear Solid, though he couldn't commit to a date at this time. MGS5 is set to come to PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
