Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?

Don't waste your time or money on the Dead Rising 2 deal. I have a non-steam copy and recently tried to play it, but Game For Windows Live DRM was still in effect. Since that is defunct, I couldn't get into the game and don't recall any GFWL-less a la Fallout 3 for it. Steam page also mentions "3rd party DRM".

I really enjoyed it and recommend it. One of the few games where the story and experience stayed in my mind for a while after finishing it. The combat is cleverly designed but ultimately gets repetitive but this was not much of an issue. Gameplay was on the easier side but you are really playing for the experience and great visuals and good voice acting.

^^^agreed. It's one of the very few games that feels like you're inside a classic Heavy Metal comic from the likes of Enki Bilal. The game world is beautifully detailed.

Okay, I finally bought it. I don't know when I'll get to it with my sad internet limits, but I'll play it eventually!

Great art style, interesting story, interesting combat system that got slightly tired by the end (but not enough to ruin the game), but overall a pretty great game. Would recommend.

thought it was kinda boring, until the later stages, when things really start to come together in terms of game play. The aesthetic is cool and the i enjoyed the whole memory thing/story.
