Rhythm-based games are a dime a dozen these days, but a new title called “Jungle Rumble: Freedom, Happiness, and Bananas” will soon be making its way to the PS Vita.

Jungle Rumble challenges players to drum in order to control their tribe of monkeys as they fight rival monkeys who have invaded and stolen their bananas. Players will drum on their monkey tribe, then drum on whatever action they would like to be performed, which includes swinging through trees or throwing coconuts at enemies.

What makes the game interesting is its dynamic soundtrack, which changes depending on what’s going on in the game. Adding monkeys to your tribe will cause the music to swell with intensity, grabbing coconuts results in an increase in the drum’s beat, and making a mistake puts a complete stop on the rhythm.

Rhythm game junkies should keep an eye on the PS Vita release of Jungle Rumble, which is said to happy “very soon.”
