Driveclub has taken quite a while to get out of the garage, following the game's delay into next month. However, Evolution Studios is promising that it will be worth the wait, and today detailed the downloadable content that will come out for it over the next nine months. Yep, nearly a year's worth.

The developer plans to release a number of car packs, tour packs, livery packs, tracks and cars over the next nine months, spacing out the content so that there's something fresh and new each month. It plans to gift a number of cars and tracks free, with a car guaranteed for release from October 2014 through June 2015.

In addition, those who invest in the season pass will access a lot more, including the aforementioned livery, tour and car packs, to get the ultimate experience out of Driveclub. It's currently being sold for $24.99, which will give you all the game's overall content for a third of its general selling price.

Driveclub heads out on the road starting October 8th for PlayStation 4.
