Hack 'n' Slash now available on Steam
Double Fine bumps up the release date for its new puzzle-solving action game by a day, and you can snag it now for $20.
With all the game delays hitting the market these days, it's very rare to see a game actually get bumped up in release. However, that's just what Tim Schafer and the team at Double Fine did with its latest Steam game, Hack 'n' Slash.
Schafer took to Twitter yesterday to announced, "I have a confession to make. I was untruthful. Hack 'n' Slash is not coming out on Wednesday. It's coming out tomorrow!" And indeed, the game is live and ready for purchase.
For $19.99, players can get their hands on the early access game, adjusting code with a unique character in order to finish off enemies and solve puzzles strewn throughout. (It is called Hack 'n' Slash, after all.)
You can purchase the game here, and don't forget to check out the trailer to see what you're getting into with the Hacking Sword! Double Fine also pointed out that it's releasing the game with the full source code, for extra-realistic hacking goodness.
