Paradox Entertainment continues to expand the entertainment value of its hit PC game Magicka: Wizard Wars with the debut of a third PvP map into the game.

In Displacement Ridge, players have a new area to take down opponents, but there's an interesting new wrinkle with the introduction of transporters. Using these, players can zip around the map any way they see fit, forcing wizards to create new strategies in order to cut them down to size.

In addition, a new referral program offers rewards for those who bring their friends into the Magicka mix. More details on that program can be found here.

Finally, a new Daily Treasure Chests program has been introduced in the game, which provides rewards for wizards that take part in the action on a daily basis. These include additional coins for in-game purchases, as well as the chance to win rare goodies, like a new robe.
