Last year, Square Enix surprised us with the release of Final Fantasy: Theatrhythm, a game that took the majestic soundtracks from the RPG series and transformed them into a beautiful music-rhythm game. This month, it'll be coming back for an encore with Curtain Call, and you can try it out now.

Square Enix has announced the release of a demo, which is available now as part of this week's 3DS eShop update. In it, players can try out two different songs from the game, and transfer over their save data to the full game should they really nail the performances.

The full release of Curtail Call will arrive on both eShop and retail on September 16th.
