Nintendo announces holiday Wii U and 2DS bundles
Nintendo has announced a bundle of bundles this morning, with two buying options for WIi U and three new colors for 2DS.
Nintendo announced two new 3DS models in Japan this morning, but that wasn't the only hardware announcement of the day. Here in the states, the company will be bringing out several hardware bundles for the holiday season.
Wii U is getting two bundles, both set to go on shelves in mid-September. A Super Mario 3D World Deluxe set includes a Deluxe Wii U system, Super Mario 3D World, and Nintendo Land, for $299.99. The second, to be offered exclusively at Walmart, will include Mario Kart 8 and Nintendo Land instead, for the same price.
The handheld 2DS will get its own set of bundles as well. Electric Blue, Crimson Red, and Sea Green 2DS systems will be available with a download code for Mario Kart 7, for $129.99. In the same announcement, Nintendo noted that an October update will introduce 3DS Home menu themes that will let you change aspects like the menu background, icons, folders, music, and sound effects.
