Smash Bros gets Shulk from Xenoblade, and soundtrack offer
Nintendo has confirmed Shulk from Xenoblade Chronicles will be in Smash Bros, lending credence to the recently rumored roster leak.
As part of a flurry of announcements this morning, Nintendo announced yet another new character for Super Smash Bros. Shulk from Xenoblade Chronicles will fight alongside the Nintendo greats this fall.
Perhaps more significant than Shulk himself is the fact that he was also on the recently rumored leaked roster. Now that he's officially confirmed, it lends credence to others on that roster that have not yet been announced. The roster purportedly showed plenty of unconfirmed returning characters like Ganondorf and Falco, alongside new ones like Bowser Jr., Dark Pit, and Duck Hunt Dog.
Nintendo also announced that if you register both the Wii U and 3DS versions of Smash Bros through Club Nintendo, you'll get a "Premium Sound Selection" soundtrack CD.
