Madden NFL 15 EA Access trial limited to six hours
The early access to Madden NFL 15, which will be offered 5 days before release, will be limited to six hours of gameplay, according to the company.
The early access to Madden NFL 15 under EA Access will be limited to six hours.
The company announced the limitation on Twitter (via GameSpot), stating: "EA Access memebers will have six gameplay hours with the full Madden NFL 15 game." The announcement wasn't clear just how it will determine "gameplay hours," but it seems likely the system can't differentiate between gameplay and menus.
EA has talked about limitations on the EA Access pre-release games before, but this is the first game to get a specific timeframe. Though it's time-gated, you will be playing the full version of Madden complete with achievements. You can also carry over any progress to the full game if you purchase it once it comes out.
This is likely a harbinger for the other games that will get early trials via EA Access, since the company wouldn't want players to rush through Dragon Age: Inquisition during the five-day period. EA Access is exclusive to Xbox One.
