Destiny's first expansion comes to PlayStation first in December

Destiny isn't out just yet, but that isn't stopping Activision and Bungie from singing its praises during the Sony Gamescom 2014 media briefing. After noting its place as the highest pre-ordered new IP of all-time, it came time to discuss timed-exclusive content for PlayStation owners. In particular, PlayStation users will get the first crack at Destiny's first expansion when it launches in December.

The first Destiny expansion will be titled 'The Dark Below' and will include new co-op and competitive content for Bungie's shooter. PlayStation owners will also get first access to the Exodus Blue multiplayer map when Destiny launches on September 9.
