New releases for August 11-17

Selections are slim this week, but Risen 3 on PC and Hohokum on PS4/PS3/Vita are coming out in the next seven days.

With Gamescom and SOE Live both kicking off in the next week, one can hardly blame publishers for not getting their games out there. The excitement will come with staying glued to your monitors for the latest breaking news. And yet, there are still a couple of notable games to get excited about.

For example, Risen 3: Titan Lords makes its way to PC this week, as players explore a whole new world and make pivotal choices along the way. Hohokum also makes its much-anticipated debut on PlayStation platforms, while Surgeon Simulator begins its operations on PS4. Check out our list and video below.
