2014 Pokemon World Championships to stream in August
Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have announced the streaming schedule for the Pokemon World Championships, set to kick off on August 16.
Pokemon trainers from around the world will compete in August to see who is the very best, like no one ever was.
Nintendo and The Pokemon Company announced that the 2014 Pokemon World Championships will stream live this year, letting you check out all of the pocket monster battling action from home. It will take place August 16-17 in Washington, DC, and will feature both card and video game matches. Players from more than 30 countries are set to compete for scholarships and prizes.
It will all stream on the official Twitch channel. The schedule below is in Eastern time, and they'll be re-broadcast the following Sunday and Monday.
Saturday, August 16
- 9 a.m. : Opening Ceremony
- 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. : Pokémon video game
- 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. : Pokémon TCG
Sunday, August 17
- 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. : Pokémon TCG Finals (Junior, Senior, and Masters Divisions)
- 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. : Pokémon Video Game Finals (Junior, Senior, and Masters Divisions)
