Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes will hit stores on September 23, Disney announced today.

This is the latest in a pretty full week of announcements for the toy-based superhero game. Early this week Disney debuted the Collector's Edition with a Frost Giant base, and just yesterday it officially announced the Guardians of the Galaxy figures and playset.  Today's announcement reiterated that pre-orders of the Starter Pack will get an extra Marvel figure. 

If you happen to be attending San Diego Comic-Con this weekend, you can check the game out at the show. It will be available to play at demo stations, and various retailers both inside and around the convention center will be offering pre-orders.
