Super Smash Bros Stalks SDCC
Want to play the game without wandering over to the Nintendo Lounge at San Diego Comic-Con? They will find you… and they will make you play.
Telling someone you're hanging out at some restaurant or bar on Foursquare could be an open invitation for your ex to come by and crash your party. Or, worse yet, that weird friend of your parents who's trying to be "cool." Wouldn't it be great if there was a good kind of stalker? Well, now there is. Kind of.
Nintendo will be bringing Super Smash Bros. in full force to San Diego Comic-Con all this week. Not only will it be stationed at the company's Nintendo Lounge at the Marriott Marquis & Marina, but you can also get them to come to you. Yes, even while you're waiting in line at the dreaded Hall H.
Throughout the show, Nintendo will send out "Bring Me Smash" on its @NintendoAmerica Twitter account. Tweet a picture of where you're at around the show, along with the hashtag #BringMeSmash. If you're selected, Nintendo will send you a message saying they're on the way with a playable 3DS version of the game. It's probably best not to wander off because, you know, Nintendo really, really wants to see you and make you play.
So keep a close eye on that Twitter account, and prepare to Smash wherever you are. Eating pizza, in the bathroom--wherever. Smash waits for no one!
