Perhaps you're late to the party on German developer Daedalic Entertainment's light-hearted point-and-click adventure Deponia. If so, the studio is making it a lot easier to enjoy the full story from scratch by collecting the original game and its two sequels (Chaos on Deponia and Goodbye Deponia) in a full compilation called Deponia: The Complete Journey.

Deponia: The Complete Journey will contain the full trilogy of games, along with a developer's commentary, questlog, and world map. The package will also feature additional behind-the-scenes videos, in addition to the soundtrack, concept art, animation workbook, and "Introduction to Deponia" book that was originally included in the Goodbye Deponia premium edition.

For those unfamiliar with the story of Deponia, it centers around a tinkerer named Rufus living on a garbage-covered planet called Deponia. When the lovely Goal of the utopian Elysium lands on Deponia, Rufus offers to escort her back, in hopes of stamping his own ticket out of the trash-filled planet in the process.

Those interested in checking out the full Deponia story can do so on Steam for $39.99. You can also check out the trailer below.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
