Space Hulk: Deathwing trailer shows off Unreal Engine 4-built footage
Space Hulk: Deathwing may be a long way from release, but Focus Home Interactive and Games Workshop took some time to release a new trailer showing off new in-game footage, built from Unreal Engine 4.
If the game adaptation of the classic tabletop game Space Hulk isn't quite enough to satisfy fans of the Warhammer 40K franchise, Games Workshop would like to issue a courtesy reminder that an FPS based on the franchise is still in the works. Yes, Space Hulk: Deathwing's development is indeed moving forward and Games Workshop and Focus Home Interactive have released a new trailer to show off some of the progress made so far by developer Streum on Studio.
The new trailer shows off some new footage from the upcoming Unreal Engine 4-built shooter. As one might expect, a Deathwing Librarian and his Deathwing Terminator compatriots are armed to the teeth and mowing down Genestealers with the heaviest of artillery that includes Force Swords and Assault Cannons. One thing to note about the trailer is that it can easily be mistaken for a CGI showcase. However, the disclaimer at the start of the video does show that all of it is in-game footage built with Unreal Engine 4.
Space Hulk: Deathwing is expected to release in 2015 on PC and consoles. To watch some Genestealers eat lead, watch the trailer below.
