Games with Gold July line-up includes Guacamelee

Microsoft has outlined its July Games with Gold line-up: Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition, Gotham City Imposters, and BattleBlock Theater. Max: The Curse of Brotherhood will also stick around.

July is just around the corner, which means it's about time for Microsoft to outline next month's Games with Gold offerings. Next month will include three new games, and one that is oddly sticking around from last month for some reason.

For Xbox One, Max: The Curse of Brotherhood will remain on-tap for Gold members to grab at will. The newly released Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition will replace Halo: Spartan Assault. On Xbox 360, you'll be able to get Gotham City Imposters starting on July 1, and then BattleBlock Theater starting on July 16.

      They couldn't have chosen a worse time for BBT, it was just like $3 on Steam. Game is awesome though for anyone who doesn't own it. I feel like it didn't get as much publicity as it deserved when it came out.

      There was a screenshot floating around on /r/XboxOne a few days ago detailing a little bit most people missed out on... if you had read the small text at the bottom of the GwG hub on Xbox One, it clearly stated there only one new Xbox One title would appear per month.

      Nothing was ever stated either about "two per month" being the norm for Xbox One during the initial Delivering More Choices reveal either: http://news.xbox.com/2014/05/xbox-delivering-more-choices
