Project Zomboid update adds trapping
The world of Project Zomboid is getting a little bigger with today's new update. The Indie Stone has expanded the game's world with its 27th build. With more to explore, travelers are bound to get hungry, so the new update will also introduce trapping.

The Steam announcement explains that Project Zomboid will now feature traps of varying sizes. Players can set them down and use bait to lure in small animals, like rabbits, rats, and birds. What you do with them from there is up to you, whether you decide to eat them or use them in different recipes.
A new map area is also being introduced along the northeastern part of the West Point area. Among the new locales is a shopping mall, because no zombie survival experience is complete without a shopping mall. Unfortunately, those with a game in progress will only be able to find the new area by starting a new game from scratch.
The full change list for the new update can be found here. Chatty's Sapiens is the resident Project Zomboid player around these parts, so you can watch him try out some of the game's changes on his Twitch channel.
Project Zomboid is currently on Steam Early Access.
