This month marks the first appearance of Games with Gold on Xbox One, but when Microsoft detailed the dates a few days ago, it left the XBO dates up in the air. "We will announce specific dates that these games will be available soon," the company said.

Well, surprise! It's today, apparently.

Alongside the Xbox One update currently rolling out, and the decoupling of Gold from video services like Netflix, the two June XBO games are available now according to Microsoft. Those are Halo: Spartan Assault and Max and the Curse of Brotherhood. Keep in mind that unlike the 360 line-up, those games will no longer be accessible if you let your Gold subscription lapse.
