The Sims 4 gets creative with a new Build Mode
With EA's The Sims 4 confirmed for release, simulation fans are sure to get their latest fix from this series, especially when it comes to using the new Create-a-Sim mode. However, that's not all, as EA has just released a trailer that shows another creative tool that's coming to the PC release.

Battlecry is a team-based multiplayer game without gunpowder
In 2012, Bethesda opened a second gaming studio in Austin, TX, the same neighborhood as Dishonored developer Arkane Studios. The studio would be dubbed Battlecry Studios, headed by former Star Wars: The Old Republic executive producer Rich Vogel. While the studio had begun soliciting jobs, there was next to zero information given on the studio's first project, nor would anything be revealed through the entirety of 2013.
Today, Battlecry Studios has officially unveiled its first project: an animation-driven third-person class-based multiplayer action combat game, appropriately (if unremarkably) titled Battlecry. This free-to-play game is set to come exclusively to PC and Shacknews recently had the opportunity to try it out.

the lighting in another video was fine, probably just the setup https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ty9UVXy4PW8

It looks good and is well produced but getting your news updates by video is pretty slow, and I dunno, it just doesn't do it for me.
What I'd love to see in the Shack is you guys using your industry connections and bridging those with the community. By that I mean things like:
- Getting questions from the community to ask devs. I see this come up again and again and the questions are usually really good.
- Bring developers into the Chatty for Q&A sessions, then take the output of that and turn that into an article to post on the website.
I kind of feel like I can get my news anywhere and unless you want to throw the same resources at this as IGN does, it'll always come off second best. I think the Shack could be a place for more creative articles and stories.-
We're definitely trying to get some more developer interviews on the site where Chatty gets to ask the questions, and eventually we would love to host them right on Chatty. These videos are just ideas that we're experimenting with, and we're still trying to get the timing down to see if they're editorially valuable.
And yes, Sam needs some better lighting. The crew are working on that!-
The only thing about doing it in the chatty is to avoid Firefall shenanigans where the dev encourages their community to show up and shill and it devolved into an absolute mess.
