Evolve to terrorize population in October
If your game is all about taking down deadly monsters, it only makes sense to release around Halloween. 2K and Turtle Rock Studios announced today that the asynchronous multiplayer monster hunt Evolve will release on October 21 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. As previously announced, pre-ordering will get you the Savage Goliath skin and another monster sometime after launch.
Metro Redux restores both Metro 2033 and Last Light for PC, PS4, and Xbox One this summer
Deep Silver has formally pulled back the curtain on the long-rumored Metro Redux. However, while the original rumor suggested a collection of content from Metro: Last Light, the final product from 4A Games is proving to be far more than that. The full Metro Redux package will feature separate downloadable remasters of both Last Light and Metro 2033 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, each going for $24.99. A boxed compilation will also be avaiable at retail for $49.99.
The Wolf Among Us episode 4 spins a yarn next week
Just as expected, the release of new screenshots for Telltale's The Wolf Among Us earlier this week was a sign of things to come. The studio announced release dates for episode four today, starting to roll out next week.

Evolve preview: meet the new Hunters
There's a monster on the loose and hunters are in hot pursuit. Until now, 2K and Turtle Rock had revealed four hunters for their upcoming four-on-one multiplayer monster fest Evolve. But the hunter roster is about to double, with four more characters joining the fray, one for each class. Shacknews got to check out these new characters in action, revealing a distinctly different teamwork dynamic than the other characters shown to this point.
You already know Markov (Assault), Griffin (Trapper), Hank (Support), and Val (Medic). But they aren't the only ones going after the player-controlled monster, Goliath.
Minecraft coming to Xbox One, PS4 and Vita this August
Considering the best seller that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions has become (millions of copies and rising), it was only a matter of time before Mojang brought the blocky building/action game Minecraft to the newer systems. This morning, it officially announced that Minecraft will hit PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Vita in August.
