The trailer shows off friends sharing resources like a kind, benevolent dictator, and then declaring outright war. The poor residents of your island nation probably aren't too thrilled either way, but what kind of dictator would you be if you cared about what they thought? Tropico 5 is due for PC on May 23, with Mac and Xbox 360 following in summer and PlayStation 4 in fall.

Looking forward to this. I loved T3 but skipped T4, so I imagine that the improvements in T5 will be significant.

Tropico 4 is very much worth playing if you liked 3. It's routinely on sale, especially during the big sales events, so you can probably grab it for 5-10 bucks at some point. Hell, I'm pretty sure they're giving it away free with Tropico 5 preorders.

I picked up Tropico 4 during this winter's steam sale and its been an absolute blast to play, really looking forward to #5.
