DriveClub: PlayStation Plus Edition will include ten cars and five tracks
Although DriveClub has been retooled and delayed, Sony still plans on releasing a free version of the game to PlayStation Plus members. As stated earlier, while the Plus version will include all the features of the standard game, it will be limited in content. So, exactly what can Plus members expect from their freebie?
Evolution Studios' Paul Rustchynsky explained on the PlayStation.Blog, defending accusations that it's just a demo. "The PlayStation Plus Edition hasn't changed. It's hardly a demo because you get access to all of the game's features online and offline. The difference is that you only have 10 cars and you can only race in one country (which gives you access to 5 tracks with 11 distinct variants)."
That sounds like a demo to us! But, given Sony's ability to sell "Prologue" versions of Gran Turismo, this freebie is better than nothing.
