Bandai Namco has confirmed rumors that Tales of Hearts R is coming to the west, but the publisher apparently jumped the gun and pulled its video announcement. Regardless, the word seems to be out, and the Vita RPG is due this winter.

The video featured Hideo Baba, producer on the Tales series, announcing the date while surrounded by Tales merch. The video has since been taken down, but Siliconera shows a screenshot of him announcing it for the west. A tag at the end of the video revealed the winter release target.

Tales of Hearts R was a Vita remake of the 2008 DS game. The earlier rumor stated that it would be a GameStop exclusive, and the video doesn't confirm that part--but given that the other information has shaken out accurately, it wouldn't be surprising to see that hold true too.
