Chaos Reborn, the crowdfunded project from XCOM creator Julian Gollop, is now playable as a prototype. The reboot of the classic Spectrum game Chaos: The Battle of the Wizards will once again put wizards in a competition to the death.

The promo site (via GameSpot) lets you create a username and password to login and start playing. A game play guide includes downloadable versions and instructions. This is a prototype, though, so keep in mind you're likely to find some rough patches.

The Kickstarter campaign has raised approximately $160,000 as of the time of writing, with only a few days left to reach its goal. It aims to hit $180,000 by this Thursday April 17.
