Rollercoaster Tycoon 4 Mobile launched
The much-maligned Rollercoaster Tycoon 4 has launched on the App Store. While it carries an initial price tag of $3, it's very much designed as a free-to-play game.
The much-maligned Rollercoaster Tycoon 4 has launched on the App Store. While it carries an initial price tag of $3, it's very much designed as a free-to-play game, with numerous in-game currencies like tickets, coins, and a countdown timer. The initial purchase includes $5 worth of in-game money.
Currently sporting a three star rating on the App Store, some initial reviews haven't been entirely favorable. "Build a Ferris wheel? Sure, but you'll have to be patient because of the building timers... I have to visit my park every day and tap on my rides aka resource collectors. Well at least the art style is from RCT2 right? Nope, it's not, it now even LOOKS like a freemium title world builder game," one of the first reviews says.

This looks FUCKING HORRIBLE. No entrance/exits, no queues, no pricing, no ride charts, no R&D, no awards, no progression, NO ANYTHING that made the previous games interesting, just a whole game centered (solely) around grinding currency And that's not even TALKING about the freemium shit of PAY ONE TICKET TO FINISH THIS FERRIS WHEEL NOW INSTEAD OF IN 15 MINUTES.
Sorry. I'm pissed off. This game is shit and not a Rollercoaster Tycoon game in any way, shape, or form.
