After 100 million registered users and counting, you'd think Markus "Notch" Persson would be accustomed to the runaway success of Minecraft. But as The Simpsons showed last night, sometimes he can still be flattered.

Last night's episode of the long-running animated comedy featured a Minecraft-inspired couch gag, the show's rotating opening sequence. It was enough to fluster Persson, who responded on Twitter (via GameSpot).

"I STILL feel a bit like it's just this small game I made at home. It's so weird to have all these things happen," Persson wrote. "I'm not sure how I feel about it."
