Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls pre-orders offer Hearthstone Expert Card Packs

Blizzard is crossing streams with its franchises, once again, when it comes to pre-orders. The publisher is offering Hearthstone Expert Card Packs in the latest pre-order incentive for Diablo III: Reaper of Souls.

Now that Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft has officially launched, Blizzard can now begin offering up certain new carrots as pre-order incentives for some of their other games. In this case, the publisher is making a last-minute push to get players into the upcoming Diablo 3 expansion, Reaper of Souls, by offering up Expert Card Packs for Hearthstone players.

Battle.net details the pre-order offer. Those that order the Reaper of Souls standard edition will receive one Expert Card Pack, while those that buy either the Digital Deluxe Edition or the Retail Collector's Edition will receive three Expert Card Packs. Blizzard makes sure to point out that a maximum of five Expert Card Packs can be redeemed on a single Battle.net account.

This latest incentive adds to the cosmetic Wings of Valor item for Diablo 3 and the unlockable Imperius, Archangel of Valor for Heroes of the Storm that was previously revealed last month.

Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls arrives on March 25 on PC. That means that this is the last weekend to level up your existing Diablo 3 character before the expansion arrives. Good thing Blizzard is offering double XP through Monday.
