Diablo 3 'Level 61' videos unleash piranha scourge
A new set of videos shows off the powers that the different classes will get in Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls starting with hitting level 61.
Diablo 3 is mere days away from getting its Reaper of Souls expansion, packing all kinds of fancy updates and modes and randomized dungeons. It will also raise the level cap to 70, and start introducing new skills at level 61, and a new set of videos shows off all the natural disasters you can unleash on your enemies.
Blizzard shared the videos on its blog. While they all look suitably impressive, summoning rocks to bludgeon or black holes to spagettify your enemies, our personal favorite has to be the Witch Doctor's "Piranhas" skill. No matter how dry the land, that crafty summoner will create a pond infested with sharp-teethed tiny fish right under you. And if they don't kill you, the giant alligator most certainly will. What a way to go, though. Check it out, along with some slightly less hilarious powers, below.

So, with Torchlight 2 and Path of Exile both being considerably cheaper I never once wanted to buy Diablo 3 at it's original $60 asking price. Last Sunday I purchased D3 for a mere $20 and with Loot 2.0 I'm having a great time. I played the beta like what.. 3 years ago? and don't quite remember it, but as it stands now it's pretty good. I'm loving the story. It's Diablo story at its finest and just like most good RPG's I get lost in it and before you know a 1 hour log in turns quickly to 4 easily.
With just 4 days of playing I'm a lvl 40 Barbarian and I'm sold on getting RoS. I don't buy very many $20+ games, but it's snagged me. I've taken down Diablo 1, 2 and LoD with D3 soon to follow. I just reached Act 3 prior to hibernation last night and looking to spend more of my time this weekend and possibly completing the game.
The only real complaint atm that I have is that I can NOT be a Crusader. :'(
Recommended especially at its current $20 asking price! -
