Titanfall delayed again on Xbox 360
Titanfall will arrive another two weeks later than planned on Xbox 360, EA announced today. It will now launch April 8.
The Xbox 360 version of Titanfall has once again been bumped to a slightly later date. EA announced today that the last-gen version will be delayed by two weeks, and is now set to drop on April 8.
"I’ve been playing the game a lot, and it is fantastic," read the announcement from EA Studios VP Patrick Söderlund. "But we see a few things that can be made even better, so we’re giving Bluepoint a little more time to do just that and deliver an epic Titanfall experience for Xbox 360 players." He closed by assuring that the 360 version will have content parity with its already-launched Xbox One and PC versions.
Titanfall's 360 version was originally planned for March 11, right alongside the other versions. It was bumped by two weeks in February, and now has been pushed back another two weeks. As Söderlund referenced, that version is being ported by Bluepoint. Check out our review for more on Titanfall.

Letting the release of one of the most anticipated titles of the year on that title's largest platform slip out of the quarter/fiscal year when EA had presumably modeled guidance around releasing it during the quarter is not something EA would willingly do, at least if it had short term gain in mind. I take it as a fairly strong sign that our leadership is willing to put quality first and give teams the time to get it right the first time.
