Another of Sega's classic franchises is getting new life on mobile devices. The company has announced Crazy Taxi: City Rush, a new entry directed by original creator Kenji Kanno. It will be a free-to-play release on iOS and Android devices later this year.

In City Rush, you'll swipe to change lanes, turn corners, and drive through the city. It will also offer cab customization to tackle the various missions and challenges. Sega says it has already soft-launched the game in some regions, in preparation for its full launch. Meanwhile, the original Crazy Taxi is now free on the iOS and Android app stores.
