Batman: Arkham Origins had a multiplayer mode we weren't particularly fond of. Outsourced to Splash Damage, the online offering had Batman and Robin go against a group of thugs. However, the newly-announced Arkham Knight won't feature multiplayer of any kind, with developer Rocksteady saying they're too busy to do anything with it.
"We don't have the time to do multiplayer," director Sefton Hill explained to Game Informer (via VideoGamer). "We want to focus on making the best single-player experience we can."
"We don't feel that it needs a multiplayer element," he added. "Warner Bros. backed that up right at the start."
