Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls pre-orders give you 'Wings'
Those that pre-order Diablo 3's Reaper of Souls expansion early are about to get some Wings. Early adopters will get the cosmetic Wings of Valor, as well as Valla the Demon Hunter for the upcoming Heroes of the Storm.
Now that Blizzard has shut the doors to the Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls closed beta, the publisher is discussing pre-order loot for the expansion's PC and Mac versions. Early adopters of the digital and retail versions are slated to receive the in-game item Wings of Valor, as well as an unlockable hero for the upcoming Blizzard MOBA, Heroes of the Storm.
The Wings of Valor is a cosmetic item worn by the mighty Imperius, Archangel of Valor. Angelic Wings were previously offered in the Diablo 3 Collector's Edition, with no way to earn them in-game.
Those that pre-order will also receive Valla the Demon Hunter for the upcoming Heroes of the Storm, once the game releases. However, Battle.net states that this pre-order incentive will not guarantee entry into the game's alpha or beta.
Pre-order 'Wings' will be sent out starting on March 20 to anyone that redeems their Reaper of Souls game key before March 31. Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls will arrive on PC and Mac on March 25.

Yea drops seem even better than PTR, took my 60 Barb (ok a low-level 60 I guess, only got him to Inferno Act I in vanilla), in just 1/2 hour in Act I *NORMAL* I had already picked up 4-5 rares than replaced my current gear, plus the 2nd goblin dropped IK Boots (I NEVER got a green drop in vanilla on any char before!)
Is there even any need to run higher difficulties for a while (now that we have difficulty scaling to char. level) ?

Getting rid of the auction house and targeting drops has made the loot game vastly more fun than it was, plus statistics seem better tuned to the items themselves. I already thought the game had better controls and more impactful combat than POE or Torchlight and now with the new Paragon levels, Loot 2.0 and new gear it can compete much better with the other aspects of those games as well.
