Kiefer Sutherland hints at upcoming Mortal Kombat role
All is quiet from NetherRealm Studios in regards to the next Mortal Kombat, but we can apparently add actor Kiefer Sutherland to the next game's voice cast, if a recent interview is any indication.
The next Mortal Kombat game was originally planned for sometime in 2013. But even though that train has clearly left the station, that doesn't mean the game isn't still in development. In fact, we can likely add a new voice to the game's cast: 24 frontman Kiefer Sutherland.
When discussing his upcoming involvement in Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain to IGN, the actor offhandedly remarked, "I did Mortal Kombat, and that's such a huge game, but it's so not like [MGS5]."
Of course, considering the context of the remark, Sutherland didn't point to which role he would play in the next game. Series creator NetherRealm Studios has issued no comment.
