Sacred 3 finally launches this summer

The last we heard, it was due to launch in 2013. But oh! News! Deep Silver has announced that it'll finally launch this summer, dropping new screenshots and a cinematic trailer along with this.

The hack 'n' slash game boasts drop-in, drop-out co-op, with two players locally and up to four online. Together, you'll murder monsters and save a kingdom or something. Several classes are on offer, with upgradeable skills and weapons. Hit the official site for more.

      Oh boy, been waiting for this! Enjoyed both previus games alot, they were both a great way to fill the void between diablo releases.

        Be wary. The old Sacred games were quite buggy at launch (as is almost every german production except the Crysis guys unfortunately). There's also a chance the game had a very rocky development phase and they only continued working on it very recently with most of the content being from a few years ago.

      The trailer was pretty bad, but I have always enjoyed the Sacred games. Let's hope this one breaks the bugginess curse.
