The French browser-based MMO Fatecraft has launched an English-language open beta, renamed Therian Saga. The free-to-play RPG has attracted 50,000 French-speaking players, and is now casting a wider net.

The beta is available through the official site. It promises 24 regions with an elaborate story, party grouping and asynchronous play as your heroes carry out assignments while you aren't online, and a full-fledged crafting system and auction house. The announcement notes that a full launch is scheduled for the "near future," and the English beta is meant to gather the last bits of feedback before it does.
