Are you still waiting on a Titanfall beta code? If you're an Xbox One owner, that won't be a concern to you anymore, because the Titanfall beta has been made available to the public. PC owners will have their beta open up sometime on Sunday.

Major Nelson shared the good news on Twitter a short while ago. The Xbox One home screen will feature a link to join the beta or you can also grab it from the "New Game Demos" section of the Game Store.

If you're waiting for the PC beta to open up to the public, Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella expects it to open up sometime on Sunday.

The beta will end at 6pm PST on February 18, so jump in while you can.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?

Pffft, 720, to be honest the whole game isn't gonna win any awards for visuals, it's kinda rough looking. But holy shit is it fun! Most fun I've had on a shooter in many years.

The major drawback is how everything blurs together so much. They'll need a better variety of maps. Maybe some night missions.

Does anybody know how this will work on the PC? When they open it up... how will you get the client? I never signed up for the beta. I guess they will just send emails to everybody who signed up?

You get an email with a beta code that you redeem via Origin.

Yeah, I never actually signed up for the beat, so they wouldn't know to email me. The site is no longer accepting beta applications... so I guess they are either going to open up to everybody who applied... or just put a link on origin to make it available for everybody. Not sure.

Got a PC beta code, unfortunately it wont DL for me, it reaches 69% then jumps back to 37% with an error saying it tried to write a file, but it doesnt exist.. Seems like there might be one large file that fails to DL.. Anybody know a solution to this? tried restarting origin, deleting the content and starting over.. no luck so far..

Might be a stupid question but do you have enough room on your hard drive? I had a similar problem with BF3 and that was the issue!

If I remember correctly the PC version is a 12-13GB download and 7-8GB of that was supposedly sound files according to the installer.

It sounds pretty good though. Multiplatform PC games sometimes don't have the best audio, so I was pleasantly surprised.

yeah, the DL is 13 gig so fair question, however, its a fairly empty terabyte drive, 800gb free, so that should be fine, unless origin does something silly like putting it on the system drive first.., Ill try cleaning some space there and try again..
