DICE is an annual summit that brings together the some of the most influential people in the industry. While it may not be an event for breaking news, seeing visionaries give TED-style talks about video games is still fascinating. Over a dozen speakers took two days to share their thoughts in Las Vegas a week ago, and now you can watch exactly what they said.

Personal favorites from the show include Ed Fries' talk on "making stuff," which recounts how his father influenced his desire to become a creator. Through his recollections, we get to see a very personal take on his involvement with Microsoft, the creation of Xbox, and his decision to leave.

On a lighter note, video game composing superstar Austin Wintory (best known for his work on Journey) talked about his rise to stardom. And then, in Whose Line is it Anyway style, he takes an audience suggestion to create a theme song for an impromptu video game title.

Finally, if you want another glimpse at the future, Palmer Luckey's talk on Oculus is sure to excite. His enthusiasm for virtual reality is palpable, and his honest assessment of the challenges VR will face will have you thinking.

You can see all the talks on YouTube. Other highlights include talks from CCP Games' Hilmar Petursson, Media Molecule's Rex Crowle, Vlambeer's Rami Ismail, Insomniac Games' Ted Price, Funomena's Robin Hunicke, The Fullbright Company's Steve Gaynor, comcept's Keiji Inafune, and Mark Cerny.

Actually, the way he talks is similar to how people who had issues with stuttering learn to talk. Sometimes adding unnatural pauses or controlling their breath and language speed. It doesn't matter though, because the content of his speech is so interesting.
