World of Tanks launches on Xbox 360
The final version of World of Tanks has launched on Xbox 360, bringing with it 15v15 tank action and some premium Founders Packs.
As promised a week ago, the final version of World of Tanks has launched on Xbox 360, bringing with it its 15v15 team-based tank battles. Soldiers can jump into tanks from the United States, Germany, and the United Kingdom across seven different maps. Additional nations and tanks will be made available in future updates.
To help celebrate, Wargaming is offering premium Founders Packs, which offer premium account status, along with special tanks and resources. The first Founders Pack will include a US Tier VII T23 medium tank, while the Founders Pack 2 will feature a German Tier V PxKpfw V-IV medium tank. Tank enthusiasts that pick up both packs (priced at 6,700 and 3,400 gold, respectively) will also get a Russian T-127 light premium tank.
World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition is free-to-play... sort of. You'll still need an Xbox Live Gold membership to participate, much to Wargaming's chagrin.
