First ID@Xbox games coming from Keflings and Worms devs
Microsoft's Phil Spencer casually mentioned the first two ID@Xbox games: Nutjitsu from NinjaBee, and Worms Battlegrounds from Team17.
Microsoft has revealed the first two games to be published under its "Independent Developers @ Xbox" (ID@Xbox) program. The debut games will come from World of Keflings developer Ninjabee and Worms studio Team17.
Microsoft's Phil Spencer revealed the games (via Game Informer). Keflings studio Ninjabee is making Nutjitsu, a Widows 8 and Windows Phone game starring a squirrel ninja looking for his clan's stolen acorns. The second is Worms Battlegrounds, and the announcement from Team17 reveals it is also slated to hit both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 sometime in 2014.
Specific dates weren't given for either game, but we've previously heard that the first indie titles would be hitting sometime in March. That statement was not definitive, though, and couched in language about a release being hard to predict since they were still in development at the time.
