Assassin's Creed 4 patch fixes 100-friends bug on PlayStation 4
A 2.3GB patch for Assassin's Creed 4 on PlayStation 4 fixes the connection errors for players with large friend lists. It also fixes a variety of other bugs, adds tutorial streaming, and changes the fight balance to make double attacks more frequent.
Ubisoft has finally addressed the bug in the PlayStation 4 version of Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag that led to connection issues for those with more than 100 friends. A sizable patch has hit that fixes a few notable problems including that one, makes a balance adjustment, and introduces tutorial streaming.
Official patch notes aren't online yet, but Twitter user Wario64 (via Polygon) nabbed a screenshot of them from the PS4 interface. Aside from the errors for players with large friend lists, it also fixes loyalty reward skin errors, the news feed showing the wrong news, and Abstergo challenges refusing to show 100% completion. For new features, it adds tutorial mode streaming, support for the Resources Pack, and changes the fight balance to increase the rate of double attacks.
The whale of a patch is 2.3GB. The fourth title update is set to hit today across all platforms as well, which includes several other small fixes and multiplayer adjustments.
